| I can't pretend that the Woodpigeon is a favourite garden bird - more of an irritant really as they devour the seed that I put out with rapidity!! But they are a regular feature - so I have included one of them!! | |

If you put up feeders in the garden and attract lots of small birds - then it follows that you will also attract Sparrowhawk. This youngster has visited my garden several times and has had finch, tits and blackbird . Often the birds made so much noise - particularly the blackbirds that I was able to go out and scare him off, Other times - they were not so lucky. |
