An absolute favourite in my garden - they are so entertaining to watch. I didn't realise how fond of them I had become until they suddenly disappeared about 5 years ago and were put on a "red alert " by the BTO and RSPB. In the last couple of years they have come back again - but no where near as many as there used to be. This picture was taken on a very cold day in January through glass!! |
