The Greylag Goose is the traditional British Goose. It is the largest and most frequently seen goose and the ancestor of most domestic geese. It can be found in a variety of habitat, freshwater, estuaries and on grassland.

A very dull day during August 2008 but the lapwings at Pennington still looked attractive with the clear reflection of the bird in the water; for these pictures I used the 40d + Canon 400mm f5.6 lens
