CANNOCK 2010
2010 has been one of the coldest winters that I can remember, so the beauty of Cannock is that pictures can be taken using the car as a hide. On this February day there were a lot of birds about at the "feeding station" - they seem just to wait for visitors to bring food, which the locals do very regularly. It has been very difficult, because for a few months the area has been closed to cars because of some infection affecting the plants.

NUTHATCH - a real favourite

BLUE TIT - these little chaps are always present

GREAT TIT

COAL TIT

LONG-TAILED TIT

YELLOWHAMMER
It was nice to catch one on a branch. Normally they are feeding on the ground as can be seen with the second shot, of course taken in the snow.

WILLOW WARBLER -a first at Cannock
