.I had a wonderful day at a lake near Feckenham. It was in October, 2010, the sun was shining and there was no wind!! I had been told that occasionally Kingfisher appear at this lake - but only rarely. I was prepared for a long wait. However after only 90 minutes -it appeared - quite close and thereafter on five different occasions throughout the day. These pictures are a result of that visit and were taken with a 7d camera and a 400mm lens.
