Anglesey is a wonderful place to visit for a variety
of reasons, lovely scenery, clean beaches and of course, many species
of birds. A favourite place is Cemlyn Bay on the western side of the
island. When I took these pictures, I was sitting, overlooking one of
the little bays where the terns constantly flew to from their breeding
place on the lagoon behind me, to catch fish for their youngsters. I managed to capture
one of the terns as he was flying back with his catch
OYSTER CATCHER

I always enjoy watching the Oyster Catchers and usually
they will allow you to get quite close to them. On this day something
"spooked" them and they were off. This is the shot I managed
to take with the Canon 20d and image stabiliser lens. A very new experience,
taking flight shots has not been possible when digi-scoping.
