SPRING IS REALLY HERE!

The first week in April, the Hawthorn blossom is out and the Chiff Chaff are singing everywhere. They flit about from tree to tree, very high up and at times are impossible to photograph. This one obliged by staying put for a few moments, enjoying the blossom!

Goldfinch are everywhere, from the gardens to the parks, in the fields, along coastal paths , and here on my local walk by the canal. There was a small flock of them which stayed for a moment then were away. Beautiful little birds.
