My first visit in 2009 was back to Brittany for the first two weeks in March, sadly this was a poor period birding wise, and apart from Purple Sandpiper and Cirl Bunting there was very little to see. The Sandpipers as usual, were down the cliffs at Quiberon so that the pictures are not as good as I would have liked. This however does not spoil the pleasure of seeing them in such a beautiful area.
